Privacy Policy

Plain-language explanation of what data vibe.academy collects, why, and how you can opt out.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the site and improve it. Here is everything, with no omissions:

Analytics (Plausible). We use Plausible Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-first analytics tool. It records page views and referrers without setting any cookies and without collecting any personally identifiable information. No data is shared with ad networks.
Account information (Supabase). If you create an account or sign in via a magic link, we store your email address and a session token so you can access members-only content. We do not store passwords.
Payment data (Stripe). If you purchase a course or membership, your payment is processed by Stripe. We receive a confirmation record (amount, date, product) but never see or store your card details — those stay with Stripe.
Error reports (Sentry). When the site crashes, an automated error report is sent to Sentry. These reports include the page URL and stack trace. We configure Sentry to scrub personally identifiable information from error payloads before transmission.
Email (Resend). If you sign up for a lead magnet or transactional email (e.g., magic link, download link), we send that email via Resend. We retain your email address to deliver the requested content and, where you have consented, for follow-up communications. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Advertising cookies (TikTok Pixel) — ad-click sessions only. If you arrive at vibe.academy by clicking a TikTok advertisement, TikTok sets a session cookie on your device. This cookie lets us measure whether the ad click led to a sign-up or purchase, so we can optimise our ad spend. The cookie is set only for visitors arriving via a TikTok ad link — it is never set during organic browsing. We do not share your email address, name, or any other personally identifiable information with TikTok. Only anonymous conversion events (e.g., “a sign-up occurred”) are sent.

Why we collect it

Each piece of data above has a single, specific purpose:

Analytics: understand which content is useful so we can make more of it.
Account information: let you access content you have purchased or enrolled in.
Payment data: process and confirm your purchase.
Error reports: fix bugs before they affect more people.
Email: deliver what you asked for (a download link, a magic link, a newsletter).
TikTok conversion events: measure whether paid ads are effective, so we spend responsibly.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties beyond the services listed above, which are necessary to operate the site.

How to opt out

Because Plausible is cookieless, there is nothing to clear for analytics — your visits are aggregated and never tied to a device or profile.

For the TikTok advertising cookie, you have two options:

Clear cookies in your browser. The TikTok session cookie is a first-party session cookie and is removed when you clear your browser cookies or close a private browsing window.
Opt out of TikTok personalised ads. Visit TikTok’s Ads and Data page to manage your ad personalisation preferences directly on their platform.

To delete your vibe.academy account and associated data, email hello@vibe.academy. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.
